Key features

• Encourage reading: Kids read on Kindle for an hour a day, on average, not because anybody made them.
• 1-year Kids+ subscription included: Thousands of chapter books for kids 6-12. Renews automatically at the applicable rate. You can cancel anytime.
• Distraction-free: Just read with no apps, videos, games, or notifications to pull kids away from their books.
• Reads like paper, not a screen: Glare-free even in bright sunlight, so kids can read on the porch, in the car, or halfway up a tree.
• Adjustable warm light: Shift from crisp white to warm amber for comfortable reading, day or night.
• Waterproof: For reading by the pool, at the beach, or in the bath.
• Up to 12 weeks of battery: A single charge lasts the whole summer break, so the charger can stay in the drawer.
• Stay in the know: Follow their reading from your phone, suggest books, set bedtime hours, and see what’s holding their attention.
